Back to shock
Writing, testing, thinking and of course waffling your ears off. I don’t normally go for cards and die, but I’ve settled on something that works for myself that’s both entertaining and real easy.
For testing out ideas I’ve looked to an imaginary ancient civil war. Hopefully it will be a little bit easier with “this troop type will do this”. I also wanted to claim back the feel for randomness in strengths that I had in my Ancient Greek Polis wars. This time I will focus on a fictitious Roman civil War “Ridiculum” and the leaders fighting it Andulous and Constantinuious.
The main “engine” works (probably because it would have been done before, like everything). It’s just the refinement, it is too easy to make things difficult.
I am at the moment stripping back the “engine” and plugging new “bits”.
