Battle for Melonia 2

Both commanders make battle lines at the hill Apeach near Vicci.  Both sides guns fire to no effect, Soranto takes the initiative moving his Horse and foot forward to take the hill while threatening the centre with a troop of foot.

Expecting a tough fight for Apeach Dizeli orders his foot toward the hill, his foot in the centre firing a volley to no effect on the Clementine foot in the centre.

The combat on the hill sees the Clementine foot dislodged!

As the cannon fire once again to no effect, Dizeli is quick to act, he sends his foot in the centre to hold off the enemy.  This spurring the Melonians on the hill sees that the Clementine horse and foot loose one SP a piece.  Soranto calmly sends more foot to support the centre.

Melonia gun hits its mark rattling Clementine foot for 1 SP in the centre.  Clementine gun misses.  Soranto brings up his reserve foot to take the hill, in the centre Melonian foot pushed back.  Dizeli brings his horse into play for a desperate gambit.

The guns roar and Melonian Horse are pushed away, as Clementine foot panic and run from the centre, Melonians push the enemy hard and take an area of Apeach, in the centre Melonian rally and give volley to the Clementine foot causing an SP.

It’s at this point in the game force Soranto has suffered 5 SP and Melonian force has suffered none !

Soranto flags the withdrawal with thoughts of another way through, Dizeli is happy to see the withdrawal and hopes that his men’s cheers on Apeach are not short lived.

Soranto has plans to make his way to Nomi to recoup and march down upon Elodina.  Dizeli is not slow sending riders after the Clementine force.

Broccolia reactions to the news are as follows, “it will be a long drawn out affair and so a contingent will be sent out to interests in Clementine.”

Carrotia reactions to the news are as follows, “it will be of our interests to send a contingent to Elodina, to repel Clementine invaders in the name of the Holy Church, who supports the rights of all Melonian.”

Clementine insists the lands that boarder Melonia are of their right and the Melonians have insisted to surge north up the river. A treaty is sort with Broccolia, it states “that Broccolian interests remain untouched.”

Melonia send reports of Nomi and further south being invaded and that their lands have been ravaged for years!
